Barrocas & Alves Pereira

Originally established and registered with the Portuguese Bar Association in 1989, the firm entered a new phase in its history early in the year 2000, adopting the name Barrocas & Alves Pereira.

The current structure of the firm is the result of the merger that occurred between the firm, under its previous name of Barrocas, Sarmento E Associados with Jose Alves Pereira E Associados and the subsequent incorporation of new partners, including some from the newly-merged firms, and others previously working in individual practices, the added size making for a more competitive firm.

Barrocas & Alves Pereira is now one of the largest law firms in Portugal, offering a wide range of legal services, with a special emphasis on business law.

The firm serves a primarily corporate clientele, including leading international corporations.

Our offices, covering a total of 1,200m²  are located in Tower 2 of the Amoreiras development in Lisbon. The firm also has an office in Porto and correspondent offices all over the world.
